Strategy

The purpose of a Management Process Strategy (MPS) is to define what organizations seek to achieve, the technologies it will require, the changes that will be made, and the manner in which the changes will be introduced to the organization. This planning process provides the means to:
  • Optimize user acceptance
  • Avoid EPM performance issues
  • Minimize implementation time
  • Achieve benefits quickly
  • Minimize costs
An MPS serves to lower overall costs by reducing redundancies across applications and by minimizing overlapping implementation/integration activities. It is especially relevant to larger and more complex organizations where the opportunity for cost minimization is greater. For more details about an MPS, read our article called Selling EPM, key components of which are describled in the sections that follow.
